Community Development Program Manager

Adams County is seeking a knowledgeable, professional individual to provide leadership in the identification, design, development and management of community development efforts and programs within Adams County.  The successful candidate will administer federal and local funds for the development and preservation of affordable housing, neighborhood revitalization, economic development, senior services, food and nutrition services, and other programs that improve the quality of life for Adams County residents.

 

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Community Development, Public Administration, Social Services or a related field is required. Four years of increasingly responsible experience in managing federal and state housing programs is also required.  In addition, Candidates must possess three to five years of previous public sector or governmental experience in the areas of resource development; low-income population needs; program development and management; and supervisory practices.  Training in Housing and Urban Development (HUD) or community development is desirable.  A valid Colorado driver’s license is also required.
