Analyst, Review Committee Liaison

Position Description:
- Functions as the primary liaison between U.S. Regulatory Affairs, internal marketing departments and outside advertising agencies, to coordinate the review of marketing materials. This includes managing, tracking and administering the flow of marketing materials through the development of project schedules and timelines. Additionally, the Review Committee Liaison provides editorial oversight using knowledge of medical terminology, writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- In conjunction with the RC Liaison Team Leader, ensures that all Advertising & Promotional Materials, Training Materials, and Medical Education Materials meet Industry, sanofi-aventis, and departmental standards and policies.
- Knowledge of sanofi-aventis products, medical terminology, and AMA style requirements, together with writing, editing, copy-editing and proofreading skills.
- Provide editorial oversight to advertising agency reviews of all promotional and educational materials for factual and grammatical accuracy, clarity of message, consistency, and compliance with AMA requirements and Company style.
- In review committee meetings, recommends copy changes in order to resolve issues regarding project content, ensures understanding of requested revisions, and captures the collective comments of Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Marketing, and any other departments relevant to the project in either hard copy or electronic format.
- Implements corrective action and follows through on all revisions.
- Regularly contacts, consults, and makes recommendations to Medical, Legal, DRA, Marketing, and any other departments relevant to the project, so as to resolve problems.
- Works with all relevant internal processes, including Review Committee e-Rooms and Electronic Review Committee (eRC).
- Directs agencies and vendors on copy changes. Utilizes good interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts between Company and agencies regarding content or wording.
- Coordinates documents for review, to include all promotional and training materials.
- Attends regular review meetings with cross-functional brand teams.
- Coordinates status, tracking and timelines of Marketing projects.
- Communicates project status to all involved parties.
- Supervises work submitted by vendors.
- Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
• Successful track record in a similar role with ideally 1-2 years relevant experience.
• Editing experience in the health-care field in a medical education or advertising agency environment preferred.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams, which may include Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Marketing preferred
• Experience working with vendors preferred.
Professional Skills:
