Sales & Use Tax Analyst (N9)

Basic Function: This position will provide a major excise tax technical, financial and advisory resource for the CNH's North American operating environment.

Responsibilities:

This position will meet US State and local and Canadian Federal and Provincial government mandated requirements to file monthly and quarterly sales and use tax and value added tax returns (300/month).  Defend upon tax audit the accuracy and issue positions contained within the filings.  Negotiate and favorably resolve excise tax issues.  Provide technical expertise and guidance to CNH personnel regarding excise tax ramifications for company financial and operating transactions.

Requirements:

BS or BA in Accounting, CPA certification a plus.  Minimum of 3 years experience in public accounting or a quality corporate tax/accounting environment with tax compliance and research experience with US and Canadian excise tax laws.  Basic computer knowledge with intermediate skill level of Quantum (Vertex) sales and use tax software.  Strong written and verbal communications.
