Sales Support Specialist

The Advised Investing Sales Support Team is a team designed to primarily support the managed account offer for the SPC, Advised, and IIS offers within Schwab. This team serves as an advocate for our sales organization within Schwab branches.  Specialists build relationships with internal partners by providing ongoing support for our various advice offerings/products.Responsibilities also include working with Performance Reporting for advised client's portfolios, Data Management, and Account Coding for the different client segments.


The Specialist will be primarily responsible for providing support to internal consultants related to Managed Accounts Select, advanced portfolio performance reporting, operational workflow, and a variety of other escalations related to the business.A successful candidate encompasses the ability to adapt to changes within the business, including policies and procedures and new offer products. Candidates will also be responsible for risk assessment and management to help safeguard company assets and for the overall compliance within industry and company policies and regulations.


This position requires proven effectiveness at building client and internal relationships, providing outstanding service, and ensuring high client satisfaction. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills including both verbal and written communication skills. The candidate should have knowledge of Schwab’s Spectrum of Services including our Advice offering and must be able to work effectively in a team environment.  PC skills, including knowledge of Windows and Internet, familiarity with customer contact software systems (MARS), SWISS, legacy, and Client Central are a plus.  Experience in handling regulatory requirements in operations and trading are also a plus. Candidate is required to hold series 7, 63 with a minimum of 2 years experience in the securities or financial services industry.
