NonPrime Retail Production Assistant - Phoenix, AZ

As a production assistant, you will:

Process and prepare for closing retail mortgage loans (conventional and government, purchase and refinance) under various loan programs in accordance with policies & procedures. This includes interfacing with both the AE's and Sales Managers.
Serve as a liaison between AEs and RPC/Ops
Answer all inquires regarding product, pricing, credit questions
Provide status on loan files to AEs and Managers
Assist AEs and Managers in approval process
Register loans on the origination system and maintain system accuracy
Review rate lock and point objectives for accuracy
Set Up files and order all necessary exhibits for appraisals and credit reports
Check alternative documentation for accuracy and potential problems
Order title insurance, flood, tax certifactes and surveys, reviewing for problems upon receipt
Review all documents thoroughly before submission to underwriting
Obtain and review documents for acceptibility against loan conditions
With the AE, coordinate with buyers, sellers, title companies, escrow agents, surveyors and real estate agents to obtain additional documentation, complete loan submissions and perform closings
Update the conversation log as needed
Review the weekly pipeline report


At least two years' experience in mortgage loan processing (conventional and government, purchase and refinance)
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements
At least one year of computer experience
Excellent communication and organization skills
Familiarity with standard office equipment
