This position is responsible for acting as a business liaison between the Business Users, IT Development, and Model Office, for the technology-related projects within National Planning Holdings, which consists of the following four Broker Dealers affiliated with Jackson National Life Insurance:  SII Investments, Inc., National Planning Corporation, Investment Centers of America, and Invest Financial Corporation.  The primary role of this position is to assist with writing business requirements and conducting final user acceptance testing.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLearn the business models of the Broker Dealers in the networkPerform analysis to obtain accurate business requirementsWrite Business Requirements DocumentsIdentify and resolve problemsBe a liaison between Business Users, IT, and Model OfficeManage assigned projectsMeet project deadlinesCommunicate and interact as a member of a larger teamAssimilate special projects into daily work as requestedPresent project updates to management as well as front line employeesHave the flexibility to adapt quickly to changeTravel as projects requireOther duties as assigned by supervisor

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

 

Work Experience: Financial Services industry experience and strong computer and/or software design skills required.

 

Education/Registrations:   Bachelor’s degree preferred.  NASD Series 6 or 7 preferred.
