About The Position…

 

In this fast paced and challenging position, you will be responsible for…

 

· Supporting management with financial analysis of operating expenses, providing insight of trends and identifying opportunities for improvements.

· Assisting management with the development, preparation, and presentation of the Corporate Shared Business Services functional financial plans.

· Reporting, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operational data for management and corporate functions; types of analysis to include cost-benefit, return-on-investment, and other ad-hoc analysis of interest.

· Participating in the preparation and compilation of the annual financial plan, coordinating across functional groups.

· Interacting with accounting group to analyze transactions impacting the functional groups and providing assistance to ensure a timely month-end close process.

· Responding to written and verbal information requests from internal customers in a timely, accurate and professional manner.

· Utilizing trends and business understanding to develop forecasts and estimates of future performance.

· Developing models for allocation of expenses to operating group cost centers utilizing activity drivers, and identifying opportunities for improvements based on the information contained in the trend of activities and services.

· Reviewing and analyzing reports in order to verify results and understand variances and providing concise commentary that facilitates leadership's understanding.

· Creating financial reports and analysis using query tools available in SAP-BW and Microsoft Access.

· Developing an understanding of the root causes for process deficiencies and recommending changes that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the function.

· Assisting in the preparation and compilation of a monthly financial package that will be used by management to measure financial performance.

 

To be immediately and seriously considered for this amazing opportunity, you must have the following:

 

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business related field from an accredited college/university.

· Minimum 5-10 years related professional experience in budgeting, financial reporting and analysis.

· Proficiency in PC based software with particular emphasis on MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).

· Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills that support ability to manage multiple priorities and analytical projects for all management levels.

· Must be proficient with database applications and handling large volumes of raw data.

· Must be able to manage deadlines

· Capable of utilizing technical and analytical expertise to present findings raised during report preparation.

· Able to complete complex analysis to support accurate reporting based upon financial and regulatory guidelines.

· Demonstrates a high degree of initiative, dedication and team player skills.

· 10-key proficient.

·  Exhibits excellent analytical and logic skills for budgeting/forecasting/analysis and system conversions/implementation.

Desired Qualifications:

·  Previous experience with SAP Business Warehouse (BW) system.
