Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis

Due to aggressive growth an immediate full time opportunity exists for a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at the Milwaukee, WI office of Brookdale Senior Living Inc., a publicly traded (NYSE: BKD), nationwide provider of senior living services that encompasses the Brookdale Living Communities Inc.,  Alterra Healthcare and American Retirement Corporation brands.  Brookdale Senior Living Inc., the largest senior housing company in the country, operates579 Independent Living, Assisted Living and Continuing Care Retirement Communities in 35 states and serves over 51,000 residents across the country. 


This newly created opportunity is a result of Brookdale's recent acquisition of the American Retirement Corporation. In this role, you will be assisting with the company's financial model and administering the annual budgeting process.  Working with operations management to interpret and analyze financial performance.  Performing month end reporting of financial results to internal and external parties.  Supervising and mentoring financial analysts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Provides support and financial analysis for the company's operational management team. Assists in the maintenance of the corporate financial model. Administers the annual budget process in coordination with senior management. Performs month end reporting of financial results to internal management and external parties. Assists with financial training to various levels of management within the company. Assists with other special projects pertinent to the finance department. Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field and a minimum of 6 years related experience; CPA or CFA preferred.
