Financial Business Analyst

Our client, a publicly traded corporation, is seeking an outgoing, experienced, energetic and career focused Financial Business Analyst for their corporate headquarters here in Phoenix.

 

Requirements:

-A BS/BA in Finance, Accounting or another relevant business discipline.

-At least two (2) or more years of hands on experience as a financial analyst within a large corporate environment or two or more years of public accounting experience within a “Big 4” firm.

-Extensive spreadsheet and database skills in Microsoft Excel and Access (or another related type of database software).

-A CPA, MBA or working towards one of those credentials is highly desired.

 

Some of the duties include:

-Create extensive financial models utilizing profit and loss data to enable management to make more informed financial decisions relating to various lines of business.

-Assist in the monthly, quarterly and annual preparation of operating budgets and the related variance analyses within several lines of business.

-Responsible for the coordination of various company wide resources (both financial data and human capital) in order to efficiently create the corporate annual operating plan and its related forecasting scenarios.

-Act as the primary financial point of contact for one international subsidiary to ensure timely and accurate reporting of its financial information.
