Business Analyst III
The Business Analyst will be in the Command Center, Outbound unit supporting Countrywide’s Full Spectrum Lending Division. The Analyst will be responsible for daily lead distribution to the outbound staff in NSC, NCA and Branch network. There will be a heavy emphasis on the installation, implementation and use of autodialer technology. The Analyst will have to balance the needs of the sales force with that of the Lead Distribution strategies.
Highly influential on final decisions that have a direct and significant impact on operations of the department, business unit, or company. Provides analysis, recommendations, consultation, and expert advice. Acts as a resource to department and business unit management.
Works independently to achieve management/department goals. Works on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making significant choices, recommendations, or decisions.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Leads medium to large sized complex projects that have a long-term impact on business unit operations.
- Gathers, documents, analyzes, and draws conclusions on complex data and information.
- Defines problems and scope, develops recommendations, and manages implementation of solutions that impact multiple departments.
- Develops project plans and presents recommendations.
- Creates and runs queries and reports.
- Provides guidance and recommendations on process improvement and best practices.
- May provide work leadership or guidance to others, but often in an informal capacity.
- Works independently to achieve management/department goals.
- Works on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making significant choices, recommendations, or decisions.
A successful candidate will have:
- 4-year college degree preferred in business, finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
MBA preferred.
- 5+ years business analyst experience.
- Thorough knowledge of project management, operating policies, procedures, and practices.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex material.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to solicit input.
- Facilitation and meeting management skills.
- Advanced computer skills with knowledge of spreadsheet and database software.
- Knowledge of the Financial Services industry and strong knowledge of one or more business areas.
- Strong process improvement skills.
- Effective time management skills and ability to multitask on multiple projects as priorities change.
An ideal candidate may also possess:
- 3+ years in a call center environment.
- 1+ year in Mortgage or Sales.
- 1+ years experience on autodialer as administrator.
- Intermediate - Expert level Access, SQL and/or Excel.
- Experience with database development and administration.
- Ability to analyze production data for meaningful information to Sales.
- Experience with StrataSoft or Aspect dialers preferred, not required.
