Vice President - (M & A Focus)

We have an immediate opening for a Vice President to be a part of our Corporate Development team. This position will be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama.

Responsibilities:
Build and support corporate and business unit strategies with a focus on growing the business through strategic mergers and acquisitions.
Develop and implement strategies and tactics aimed at identifying, overseeing, and completing new business opportunities through merger and acquisition.
Transaction management and planning, including negotiations, quality control of all transaction activities, and closings.
Relationship development and maintenance between the corporate attorney and external counsel.
Manage acquisition time line for each deal sourced, overseeing all day to day aspects of a project while determining the appropriate areas of focus for the project team.
Coordinate with corporate Marketing to develop a strategy to communicate the Companys development strategy to potential sellers or partners.
Assist and complete initial due diligence evaluation of targets.
Manage and maintain a Mergers and Acquisitions process model that includes an acquisition process flow chart, due diligence review flow chart, asset purchase request list, transaction approval process flow chart, example time lines for acquisitions, and other relevant models or timelines.
Assist in the development of M&A presentations for internal stakeholders.
Present each proposed transaction to Executive management of the Company.

Qualifications:
BA in Business Administration or related financial discipline is required
MBA preferred
5 10 years of relevant healthcare development experience
3 years of M&A related experience
