DIRECTOR PROGRAM SERVICES

 

Orange County Head Start, Inc., is seeking an experienced Director of Program Services for planning, organizing and directing program services (social services, enrollment, mental health, nutrition, health, and disabilities) for the grantee’s operations, and support for delegate agency operations. This includes direct oversight of the grantee operated program services for 2,466 Early Head Start and Head Start children, as well as support services to 1,525 Head Start children served by the delegate agencies.  Incumbent directs a team of service area experts in planning methods for delivery of services that carry out the agency’s strategic directives, values, goals, objectives, Federal Performance Standards and other regulations, Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) regulations, State of California Title 22 and Title 5 Community Care Licensing Standards, and Head Start core values.



Requirements for this position include a Masters degree in social work, health management, nonprofit management, education administration and/or a related field. Or a Bachelor’s degree plus five years of related experience may be substituted for educational requirement.

 

OCHS is a nonprofit organization employing approximately 450 employees providing integrated services to thousands of low-income preschool children and their families throughout the county.

 

We offer an annual salary range of $87,621 to $109,526, plus excellent benefits.
