Senior Geologist

Full-time
BA or BS in Geology with a minimum of seven years of experience or a MS degree with five years experience in consulting geology. OSHA Hazwoper 40 hr training and Washington Licensed Geologist (or equivalent state with WA reciprocity) required.
Experience with multiple drilling methods including rock coring, experience performing geologic/seismic hazards assessments in western U.S. Proficient in MS Office programs (Word and Excel at a minimum). Valid driver's license. Must be physically able to do field work that may include traversing rough/steep terrain and lifting up to 50 pounds. Must be willing to travel and perform out of area projects for typical periods of 2 to 4 weeks.

The URS Seattle office needs a Senior Geologist whose primary responsibilities include performing field and office work for a wide range of environmental and engineering geology projects. Office work includes compiling and interpreting geologic and hydrogeologic data, preparing technical reports, and providing task management for large projects and project management for small to medium projects.
