Job Description
Shred-it is the world's leading on-site, mobile paper shredding and recycling company. With over 130 offices worldwide, we are positioned for major growth in the next couple of years. As a result, we are seeking results oriented and proven Sales Representatives for our Los Angeles Area. Our office is located in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Working within a specified geographic territory, you will be involved in the entire Sales process, from new business generation, prospecting and cold calling to closing the sale and follow up account management.

As the ideal applicant, you have previous sales experience in aggressive retail sales, door-to door, or business-to-business environment. To be successful, you will be ambitious and results driven, confident and professional. This is not a 9 to 5 job. It will take dedication and determination to be successful.

This opportunity will appeal to self-starters looking for a career in Sales.

 

Minimum Requirements Sell our service,  develop and maintain current clients in a specific geographical territory. Develop a specified territory by identifying and targeting prospects through cold-calling, teleprospecting, and direct mail campaigns. In conjunction with the General Manager or Sales Supervisor, develop and set specific and measurable sales targets on an annual basis. Willing to work in a team environment and take part in training and meeting sessions for the benefit of yourself and the branch. Proficient with computer systems and utilize Shred-Its’ computer system to maintain a current database of clients, and prospects.

 

Sales Commitment: Maintain positive client relationships with current client base, and upgrade clients. Promote a positive and professional Sales attitude in the office and ensure the high standards required by Shred-it for customer service, security, and environmental consciousness are maintained.

 

Shred-it offers a guaranteed annual base salary, plus commission/bonus plan, auto reimbursement and full benefits. As well as exciting sales contests throughout the year.
