Project Manager Trainee / Assistant to Operations:

Ø  Reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Ø  Assists other Sr. Project Managers and Department Managers as needed

 

Salary: $38,000 to $45,000 DOE

Full-Time

Hours: Varies: 07:30 AM to 4:30 PM Additional Hours may be required.

 

ENCORP is seeking an entry level industrial hygiene/environmental specialist trainee for its Los Angeles area office.  Certification in asbestos, lead, H&S, hazardous materials or construction management is a plus. 

 

Activities will include indoor environmental analysis, building inspections for hazardous materials, employee chemical or hazard exposure monitoring/assessment, abatement/remediation project management and monitoring, recordkeeping and reporting. 

 

Additional duties will include scheduling staff, administrative support, report preparation, client services.

 

ENCORP will provide training and required certification training and costs

 

Qualifications:

 

Ø  Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Hygiene, Construction Management, or a related biological or physical science

Ø  Must be able to exercise good judgment under pressure

Ø  Demonstrate flexibility & willingness to work needed hours to accomplish tasks

Ø  Must be extremely detail oriented, possess exceptional organizational skills and be very meticulous with paperwork and documentation

Ø  Must maintain a high level of professionalism and a neat, polished presentation.

Ø  Demonstrate excellent communication skills

Ø  Must be able to type at least 30 wpm and have excellent computer skills, with an above average working knowledge of MS Word and Access.

Ø  Must maintain current CDL, dependable transportation (capable of transporting tools and equipment) & current auto insurance

Ø  Must be able to climb a ladder and lift 40 pounds

Ø  Must be able to successfully pass State Certification Exams
