Environmental Director

AEI Consultants is a well-established, dynamic, rapidly growing environmental consulting firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with offices and work locations nationwide. We are currently looking for a new full-time staff member for Phoenix, AZ.

The position available is in the area of Due Diligence Services, specifically the performance of Phase I environmental site assessments and Physical Conditions Assessments (PCA's). Performance of similar due diligence types of work may be required in conjunction with Phase I assignments. We are seeking a professional, hard-working, enthusiastic addition to a collaborative office environment with the following experience, skills and attributes.

Desirable Attributes
• Experience (2 - 5 years) performing Phase I, PCAs or real estate appraisals. Commercial experience is beneficial.
• A BA or BS degree, preferably in an engineering or environmental discipline.
• Knowledge of building systems and estimating beneficial.
• Personable and able to communicate with people at all levels.
• Excellent writing ability
• Willingness to travel if necessary
• Must be a self-starter and have the ability work productively and independently on multiple projects at a time.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Corel DRAW, Adobe Acrobat and TurboCAD
• Current OSHA 40-hour "HAZWOPER" training certification.
