Senior Automation Control Engineer

SPACESAVER CORPORATION (a division of KI), the leading manufacturer of information and material storage systems, located in Fort Atkinson, WI, has an opening for a plant Automation & Controls Engineer.  This position is responsible for leading projects from conception to completion, with support of area process engineers and supervisors.  Projects are generally focused on automation or controls but can also be plant improvement projects.  This position provides plant support for high-level controls related trouble shooting and electrical system repair guidance.

 

The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in an Electrical Engineering or other engineering discipline with strong experience.  Experience level will determine pay grade up to senior level.  Programming skills to include PLCs and automation.  Strong knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, and control systems will be beneficial.  Project management experience involving manufacturing equipment purchase and integration, is a plus.
