Quality Engineer

 

ResinLab and KitPackers, divisions of Ellsworth Corporation located in Germantown, are a custom manufacturer and packager of adhesives, sealants and resins and currently have an opening for a Quality Engineer.

 

The individual in this position will be involved in daily and long-term activities concerned with the quality control and quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products.  This person will control all corrective actions, create reports, and lead a monthly meeting.  They will work with each team to recommend, implement and audit process improvements to reduce errors. 

 

This job requires applying statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.  This person must have significant knowledge of the ISO9001:2000 standard and must be able to write standard operating procedures and work instructions.  Familiarity with lean processes and organizing lean events is a must.  They will perform quality engineering reviews of documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals, drawings, and company quality records.

 

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years related experience or training.  Candidate must be proficient with MS Excel and Word software and must have exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.  ASQ membership and Lead Auditor or Lead Assessor Training a strong plus.
