Lean Engineering Program Manager

CITY: Waukesha STATE: Wisconsin COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
As a part of a multi-member team, this key role will be responsible for defining a methodology/roadmap for change that mimics the principles of successful companies who have implemented lean practices leading to innovation and stronger leadership in our NPI processes moving forward.

This project is all about best practices and the impact involved in implementing lean thinking into a technology organization.

Key deliverables:

* Work with the Diagnostic Imaging teams and the technology Human Resoource team globally to do a deep dive into the technical skills, capabilities, and gaps of the current technology organization
* Benchmark the data to 1-3 external best-in-class technology organizations as well as other GE Businesses
* Make recommendations for change and develop a comprehensive implementation plan.


Qualifications/Requirements:
*BS Degree in Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Biomedical, Software.
*A minimum of 3 years engineering experience
*A minimum of 3 years project management experience
*Demonstrated global, cross-functional project management experience
*Excellent communications skills - both verbal and written
*Must be willing to submit to a drug test and background check
*Must be willing to work out of the Waukesha, WI location full-time


Desired:
*MS in Engineering or an MBA
*Black Belt certified (GE Internal Candidates Only)
*Project Manager certified
*5+ years of Engineering and Project/Program Management experience
*Demonstrated influence /negotiation skills
*Ability to influence and produce results across a highly-matrixed, global organization
