Vice President of Marketing and Sales

Global provider of electric utility solutions with a $50 billion annual global market is looking for a Sales & Marketing Vice President for their staff. This position will have responsibility for divisional directing all marketing and sales efforts. The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly experienced strategic marketer comfortable with developing, implementing, selling, and communicating marketing and sales strategies and plans to the organization that will successfully generate sustained growth and revenue as well as representing the company at major industry and customer functions.  

 

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree; ~ MBA with emphasis in marketing is preferred
Significance experience and accomplishment in manufacturing high technology products
10-15 + years leading Marketing and Sales organizations.

 

Experience & Skills:
Extensive knowledge and proven experience in strategic sales and marketing with a high technology manufactured and distributed product.
Strategic Marketing and Sales leader who can successfully communicate and execute the plans to the organization and industry as directed.
Strong experience dealing within the Power Industry a plus.
Positive attitude and outlook, and the ability to enjoy and thrive in a high-octane environment.
Ability to maintain collaborative working relationships throughout the organization to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Team player who’s leadership qualities command respect from all constituents.
Entrepreneurial and hands-on individual who can “do, as well as delegate” and is not afraid to get in the trenches with the Sales Reps.
Person who manages and “lives” by a standard of accomplishing goals and objectives.
Evaluate organizational needs and make changes as necessary to maintain leadership in the industry.
Develop Marketing and sales incentive plans. Mentor and develop managers to foster growth.
Establish and maintain executive level contacts and relationships with key customers, channel partners and industry influencers.
Analyze marketing and sales statistics and formulate policies that help grow market share.
Manage the selection, recruiting, and retention of an effective sales force.
Develop and maintain an annual pricing strategy to insure sales and profit targets are achieved.
Responsible for developing and implementing new product development strategy and implementation.
Inform the organization of significant trends and recommends appropriate action.
Conducts product rationalization to insure product line is simplified and diversified.
Determine the requirements of key customers through formal feedback.
Establish metrics from data gathered on customer satisfaction and determine how progress toward goals will be measured and reported.
