Position Description:

Chevron Energy Technology Company (ETC) is accepting online applications for a Procedures & Training Specialist- High Pressure Center (0610-50164878) located in Richmond, California through October 31, 2006.



Qualifications:

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for developing training material, providing training (using on-the-job, hardcopy, or computer methods), developing procedures for operations of pilot plants in the high pressure laboratory. Maintains OE materials and performs root cause analysis

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
Ensure that all personnel in the Pilot Plant Operations Team are property trained for their duties.

SPECIAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS OR ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS/INFORMATION:
- Experience in hydroprocessing or other pilot plants and/or experience in teaching/training preferred.
- Relocation benefits will not be considered.
- This is a safety sensitive Position.
- Job requires little travel, shift work possible, on-call possible.

SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Safety focused
- Technical ability, must be able to understand and convey to others both orally in writing, the operating requirements of pilot plants.
- Organized, must keep track of training requirements of 30+ people, maintain libray of training material and operational tools both online and on paper.
- Technical understanding, must develop safe working procedures and convert them into documents and training material.
- Good communication skills both oral and written.
- Computer skills sufficient to document and organize training materials.
