Essential functions include but are not limited to the following and are subject to change as business and other conditions require: Will be required to operate plant processes including, but not limited to: cryogenic processing plant, mole sieve dehydrators, expander compressor, gas fired heaters, internal combustion engines, gas and air compressors, gas and liquid treating process, positive displacement and centrifugal pumps and pipeline transfer equipment, fuel systems, air systems, pressure relief systems, process controls, measurement equipment, chromatographs, emergency shutdown systems, radio equipment, performs lab test for quality assurance, and perform minor mechanical and general maintenance. Will be required to complete both manual and computer-generated reports. Maintain optimum process variables using both local and distributive control systems.Will be required to pass all PSM-required operator certification. Will be required to work within the OSHA PSM guidelines and assist with all environmental and safety reporting in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned--performs maintenance and operations support functions when not operating a shift. Level of position depend ant on qualifications and experience of applicant and ability to pass DEFS qualifying tests.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS2 + year Operations experience in a gas processing facility.PSM qualified on a processing facility. Must be able to, (after job award), demonstrate proficiency in basic plant operations and specific unit operations as established by the company.Must be able to assume responsibility and perform duties under stress and / or hazardous conditions. Must have a satisfactory safety record and a knowledge of safety rules and practices.Must have a history of being able to work as part of a team and be reliable.Demonstrate sound judgment.Mechanical or instrumentation background is helpful but not required.Currently qualified as Plant Operator I, II, or III or able to pass qualifying tests.
WORK CONDITIONS
Shift work; Frequent overtime; Weekend work; Testing required; Works indoors & outdoors, in & around mechanical, industrial & electrical equipment. Required to climb about equipment & work in confined areas. Works in temperature extremes due to weather conditions & operating equipment. Wears safety equipment as required. Uses physical force to lift, push, pull & hold equipment & tools. Climbs & works at various heights & may work in a standing, sitting, lying down, crouched or kneeling position. Routinely reacts to visual, aural & other signals, including alarms & instructions, & is required to visually inspect work. May work in confined spaces (i.e. tanks, between compressors, vessels). Must be able to regularly bend, stoop, move from ground level to higher levels, raise/lift from ground level a load up to 50 lbs., manually transport a load up to 75 lbs., apply up to 100 foot pounds of torque. Must have the ability to get in & out of vehicles regularly & ride over rough roads. Must be able to lift and put on emergency breathing apparatus and/or protective equipment.
