Job Description: * Manager, Transmission Asset Management. The qualified candidate will manage company efforts regarding overall economic value of electric transmission system investment. This role requires the ability to understand and direct the highly technical analytical aspects of electric transmission system operations, system planning studies and energy trading markets. Results from this work will play an integral part of future policy and strategic direction for the company and its stakeholder communities. In addition, this position will work closely with the transmission planning staff to incorporate this information into specific project plans & construction activities undertaken by the company. This position offers high visibility with excellent career growth potential.
Qualifications: *Required: BS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in transmission design, planning, maintenance, or other related technical area. Previous wholesale or retail electricity markets experience, specifically with LMP based energy markets along with proven application of this knowledge in the valuation of electric transmission investment is essential. Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, team building and organizational skills. An MBA would be a plus.
