Electrical Engineer - Maintenence/Project/Management 73-92 K/yr

IMMEDIATE NEED for an Electrical Engineer IV in Cochise, AZ. The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and five years experience in electrical, controls, and power station engineering. Primary responsibilities will be to manage and supervise, safely and effectively, overhauls, electrical maintenance and repairs, and performance design changes for electrical equipment. Provide general electrical engineering support for plant maintenance staff. Function as project engineer for plant betterment and capital projects as assigned. The candidate will provides immediate review and final approval of minor field changes to purchase orders and contracts The candidate will need detailed knowledge of motors, generators, transformers, switchgear and medium voltage (5kV) systems. The candidate will need experience in budgeting, writing work scopes and repair procedures, analyzing and evaluating equipment performance and problems, and demonstrate ability to apply expertise to the safe and effective management and direction of overhauls and repairs. The candidate will need to provide electrical and engineering expertise for design changes in order to reduce operating and maintenance costs. The candidate will manage and supervise major repair and modifications to generators and electrical equipment. Relocation provided for the qualified candidate.
