TEST/DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - SEMICONDUCTOR TEST EQUIPMENT

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Mixed Signal IC Test Engineer to collaborate with design engineers in the design and development of semiconductor automated test equipment.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
BSEE with at least 10 years of experience or more developing mixed signal IC test programs using various Automated test equipment (ATE)
Firm grasp of digital and analog IC test methodologies
Solid understanding of operations of integrated circuits
Experience in test program debug
Knowledge of ATE calibration and checker utilities
IC handler/prober hardware/software/mechanical interface experience
Knowledge of various ATE datalog reports
Effective collaboration and teamwork skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Self directed, motivated

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop and debug automated test system (ATE) test programs to test mixed-signal integrated circuits for a
semiconductor test equipment manufacturer
Develop algorithms for testing mixed signal integrated circuits
Develop loadboard (DUT Interface Board) hardware templates to interface between the ATE and the integrated circuit being tested
Collaborate to develop testing processes that help improve IC device test
Provide technical inputs and help define requirements for test program development and debug
Integrate information from the IC design CAD tools into requirements to optimize the test program development
Provide technical inputs and define requirements for data produced by the ATE software
Develop circuitry to interface between the ATE and the integrated circuit being tested
Collaborate to develop ATE calibration program and circuitry
Collaborate to develop ATE checker program and circuitry
