Essential Job Description:

 Repair and Rework of musical product PCBA’s and finished goods ranging from guitar and bass amplifiers, stompboxes, direct recording modules, effects processors, and guitars.Provide technical support to authorized field service centers.Utilize technical test equipment, oscilloscope, DVM, distortion analyzer, solder equipment.  Continue to update knowledge base for new products.Administration of repairs in databases. Report generation. Participate in serviceability studies and report findings. Provide Quality Team with data.

 

Qualifications, Experience, Education:

 Must be computer savvy, having knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office suite be able to enter data into a proprietary database.  An understanding of electronic circuits and theory is a must.  Must be able to troubleshoot audio and digital circuits to the component level.  Familiarity with basic guitar construction and repair techniques and repair skills.

 

Skills Required: 

 Must be able to repair products to the component level with both analog and digital circuits.Surface mount soldering skills are necessary.
