Production Test Engineer

We have an immediate opening for a Production Test Engineer in Tucson, AZ.

Position Summary:
· Final integration and testing of products with the use of engineering documentation including schematics, mechanical drawings, ECOs, design docs, command docs, component data sheets, functional specifications etc.
· Use of standard electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, function generators, frequency counters, DMMs etc.
· Upkeep and maintain test stations, including PC hardware, software installation and product test equipment.
· Document repair and troubleshooting techniques.
· Troubleshoot both analog and digital circuits.
· Contribute to the creation of manufacturing and test documentation for products.
· Communicate problems requiring engineering actions through clearly written reports.


We are looking for someone who meets the following requirements:

· Highly motivated, self-starting candidate with Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology or related field.

· 3 years experience as an electronic technician as well as experience in electronic repair.

· Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions, work with minimal supervison and be dependable.

· Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.

You are proactive, goal & quality oriented and have willingness to learn new things. You are computer proficient (UNIX experience is a plus). You need to be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs and perform other labor intensive tasks.
