Product Area Controller

Sandvik Materials Technology, a leader in the manufacture of specialty steel products and other products has an immediate opening for a Controller in the Wire Products Division located in Clarks Summit, PA.

We are looking for a Product Area Controller in Clarks Summit, PA who will be responsible for:
• Wire Product Area financial support
• Financial functions such as closing, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, standard costs and operations analysis. 
• Maintain books in accordance with IFRS and USGAAP, with external audit scrutiny

This position functions as a financial catalyst and the senior financial person for Wire Products, reporting directly to the VP Finance & Administration with a strong dotted line to the VP & General Manager of the Wire Product Area.

Qualifications:
• BS degree in Accounting.  MBA preferred
• 7 years accounting/controlling experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in setting standard product costs, financial statement preparation, budgets & forecasting, variance analysis, general ledger, asset management & control, tax, governmental reporting, capital projects and special assignments that enhance improvement opportunities for the Division.
• Experience working with an integrated computer system including financials, supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics with hands on skill in report writing and query
• Microsoft Office proficiency including Word and Excel
• Ability to perform well in a team-oriented, continuous improvement environment
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and analytical skills
• Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
