This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years experience in electronics manufacturing or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Also requires Statistical Process Control training and Lean Tools training (FMEA, Process Control Plans, Design of Experiments). Requires the ability to identify and resolve complex, multi-variable process issues. Requires working knowledge of profiling printed circuit cards for wave solder, developing process control plans using Six Sigma tools, Conformal Coat process, and IPC-610 and J-STD. Requires working knowledge of lead-free SMT process, troubleshooting SMT Production equipment, developing profiles for SMT Reflow Machine, Stencil Printers for Solder Paste application, adhesive dispensers for SMT adhesive application, and AOI/AXI Programming. Must possess understanding of soldering/cleaning process and associated chemical interactions. Must possess ability to provide wave solder support and be proficient in Microsoft applications. Must be a team player.

 

This position requires the following skills and abilities:

·  Ability to identify and resolve complex, multi-variable process issues

·  Working knowledge of developing Manufacturing Processes using Lean Manufacturing principles

·  Working knowledge of developing Process Control Plans using Six Sigma tools

·  Working knowledge of cost justifications for new capital equipment

·  Working knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD

·  Understanding of soldering/cleaning process – chemical interactions

·  Understanding of Test processes

·  Ability to develop manufacturing equipment and process work instructions

·  Ability to train personnel in equipment operation/maintenance, assembly work instruction, and print reading

·  Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, CAD tools, and machine programming

·  Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
