Electronic Repair Technicians

The Repair Technician is responsible for screening, troubleshooting and repair or refurbishing of electronic/mechanical devices and associated products in support of the Repair Depot.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
Demonstrate basic problem solving skills
Visually inspect electronic devices for pass/fail conditions
Access diagnostic programs to troubleshoot and determine (extent of damage) need for repair
Follow written guidelines to repair, refurbish or scrap
Perform final testing on units to ensure (appropriate repairs were performed) proper  performance
Enter appropriate information into the system
Maintain productivity and quality standards
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Skills:
PC literate
Excellent electro-mechanical abilities.
Ability to use various small hand tools
Able to read and comprehend detailed guidelines and instructions.
Demonstrated product knowledge on a wide variety of products
Demonstrated ability to perform advanced troubleshooting and high quality repairs
Attention to detail, well organized, accurate
Ability to effectively handle multiple projects
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work in a team driven competitive production environment
Ability to multi-task

Education/Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Associates Degree in Electronics or related field highly preferred. 
Additional electrical, electronic, or mechanical training is a plus. 

Physical Demands and Work Environment: 

Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. unassisted and repetitively

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

Must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks
