Design Engineer - Pro Audio

LOUD Technologies (formerly Mackie Designs, EAW, etc.) is looking for a Design Engineer to join our design team in Woodinville. We are looking for a talented, skilled and unique individual with a combination of analog and digital hardware design experience and some embedded microcontroller DSP skills.

 

In particular, we are looking for someone with 5+ years relevant work experience from with the professional audio industry, specifically in electronics based products. An understanding of the products we design and how they are used is critical.

 

This job is moderately complex and is performed with little technical direction given. This position will report to the Director of Electrical Engineering.



 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze product requirements and create technical design documentsDesign schematics of analog and digital electronicsWrite firmware for embedded micros



 

QUALIFICATIONS:

4-year BSEE or equivalent technical discipline such as computer science or mathematics is required. Please do not apply if you don't have a 4-year science degree5+ years design experience in the pro-audio industry Excellent written and verbal communication skills



 

Ability to play an instrument or experience as a recording engineer or live sound engineer is highly regarded.
