Field Service Engineer
Charleston, WV

Position Responsibilities:

Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs new and existing diagnostics instrumentation

Performs preventable maintenance on installed equipment

Responds to customer inquiries by phone an provide onsite technical support

Provides customer training as necessary

Maintains spare parts inventory

Completes field service reports within 24 hours of call completion; maintains leased vehicle within established guidelines; shows good judgment in keeping expenses within guidelines; completes weekly expense reports

Position Requirements Preferred applicants will possess the following:

AA/AS degree in electronics or equivalent
3+ years of transferable electromechanical/electronics experience
Previous field service experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service and support skills
Ability to build professional interpersonal relationships
Ability to produce results while working with multiple projects under tight deadlines
Extensive travel is required on short notice with some overnights

Reporting Relationship:
Position reports to the Regional Service Manager

Compensation:

We reward our employees with an industry competitive salary commensurate with experience. A leased vehicle is included with the Field Service Engineer position. This is a home based position.
