Evans Newton Incorporated (ENI) a 30 year old nationally respected educational consulting company in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking experienced teachers for a full-time or contract position as a Curriculum Writer in our Scottsdale, Arizona office.

Responsibilities

· Create original assessments and assessment items

· Research indicated objectives and passage materials

· Research, create and rework original passages

· Analyze and interpret state standards

· Content edit other writers’ assessments

· Analyze content quality and readability levels of passages

 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

· 4 years Secondary teaching experience in math, science, or reading/language arts required

· BA required preferably in Education with focus on math, science, or reading/language arts

· Experience in curriculum design a plus

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize multiple projects/tasks concurrently while meeting required deadlines and adhering to company and department procedures

· Strong cognitive skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a customer-driven, fast-paced environment

· PC Skills required
