Billing Front End Trainer-Lead

Overview : Lead Position Responsibilities : This position is responsible for translation of Narrative Diagnosis into ICD9 form on Clinical, Cytology, and Pathology requisitions. Provides quality assurance and professional development to team members with continuing commitment to quality. Provides an ongoing editing process on any outstanding billcodes, action codes, and invalid diagnosis codes. Maintains an ongoing knowledge of Billing Data Entry requirements and changes.

Qualifications :

Requires a high school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience in medical billing and auditing. Minimum of 1-year experience in billing data entry. Must be able to obtain a certified diagnosis coder certificate through Sonora Quest Laboratories. Must posses excellent communication, comprehension, and organizational skills. Exceptional ability to provide constructive feedback to employees.
