Equipment Finance Group ("EFG"), a $430MM NI business with over $24B in NEA's, has a tremendous career opportunity for a customer focused, growth-driven Account Executive in our Core Originations ("CO") group. Based in Birmingham, AL, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to experience substantial personal and professional rewards by originating new customer and GE referral/cross-sell volume for one of the premier commercial organizations in GE Cap Solutions. Core Originations, the leading new business origination arm of EFG, will drive over $111 MM in NI of new business growth across all their core end-user customers and serve as crucial cross-sell partner across multiple EFG business, Industry and Product Verticals. EFG is the premier provider of end-user financing solutions to mid and large ticket commercial customers.

* Develop and implement a sales strategy and tactical plan for maximizing deal flow in the assigned database & territory
* Prospect, source, structure, propose, negotiate and close lease and loan transactions
* Develop "C" level relationships to build ongoing partnerships and maximize share of wallet with customers
* Meet or exceed Volume, Margin, NPP and cross-sell targets
* Prepare and present quarterly Sales Reviews covering performance, strategy and calling activity metrics
* Leverage sale tools such as Siebel to ensure accurate customer account management, pricing, proposals and credit submittals
* Partner with regional sales management and marketing to maximize new customer acquisition, growth and retention
* Build relationships and drive new business origination with our referral and cross-sell GE partners (Public Finance, Aircraft, Fleet, Transportation, Intermediary Financing, Technology, etc.)

Essential Functions / Responsibilities Continued:
* Partner with key customer/industry teams to drive growth with GE Enterprise, Service, Manufacturing and Construction teams
* Develop effective working relationships with Risk teams; leverage their expertise in a positive, constructive way to better understand core processes and increase process effectiveness

Qualifications / Requirements:
* BS or BA degree or minimum of 4 years industry sales experience
* Extensive knowledge of advanced transaction structuring principles and techniques
* Knowledge and experience with proposing and structuring transactions that include collateral and equipment residual value
* Demonstrated success in new business origination and meeting or exceeding volume and margin goals
* Demonstrated knowledge of credit/risk analysis processes and requirements with the ability to identify and focus on desired target accounts
* Understands and effectively utilizes skills throughout the selling cycle including prospecting, relationship building, customer needs analysis, proposal generation, deal structuring, deal team leadership and closing
* Recognized for an inclusive relationship style that effectively integrates stakeholders across multiple functions
* Prefer experience in mid to large ticket deal environment with experience in complex, $10MM+ deals a positive
* Prefer experience with end-user new customer origination
* Experience with syndication/securitization a plus
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

* MBA - Finance
* Minimum of 3 years of EFG, CEF or Sales experience within Capital Solutions
* Excellent understanding of EFG/Capital Solutions products and services
* Prior sales management experience

* Frequent travel required
