Full-time Reliable Order Entry Rep
OfficeMax is seeking a dependable, customer-focused individual to join our Catalog Sales Team.
We are currently recruiting Catalog Sales Representatives.
Successful candidates will be responsible for handling and processing inbound telephone calls from all Small Market customers. This includes accurately entering phone orders, requesting additional information when required, up-selling and cross-selling, providing product information, setting up new accounts, and transferring to other departments as needed. Customer satisfaction is achieved through courtesy, promptness, accuracy, product knowledge, and product upgrading.
Duties include:
Providing accurate, professional, timely and courteous service to both internal and external customers. Entering phone orders from customers. Following through and assuming responsibility for order completion. Presenting products and services in a manner that clearly shows how they would meet customer needs. Suggesting product upgrades, up selling and cross selling to maximize sales. Communicating appropriately with both internal and external customers. Questioning and probing to seek information to understand customer needs. Learning and applying new customer information to anticipate customer needs, including customer processes, products, systems and marketing campaigns, as well as on-going changes in operations, policies, procedures and products. Utilizing existing processes and procedures in decision making and servicing customers. Remaining flexible and presenting a positive disposition in the face of changing needs and customer demands.

High school degree or equivalent.
Accurate keyboarding skills.
Excellent telephone skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and organization skills.
Good understanding and application of proper punctuation, spelling and grammar.
Ability to understand and apply mathematical skills (division, addition, subtraction, multiplication).
Strong knowledge of the operations of office equipment such as personal computers, software, internet, e-mail, and telephone.
Highly dependable and timely in completing work.
