Customer Service Representative (Pelham)

Hagemeyer North America is accepting resumes for a Customer Service Representative for a location in Pelham, AL.  The CSR receives orders for products or services over the telephone by performing the following duties.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Receives calls from customers to explain type of service or product offered.  May be required in various site locations to call customers to solicit sales.

· Quotes prices and tries to persuade customer to buy

· Secures and places orders with others for filling and arranges delivery date.

· Records names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects solicited.

· Keys data from order into mainframe system.

· Works with the outside sales rep to secure customer satisfaction on all accounts.

· Prepares and works reports on sales activities and expediting.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong written and verbal communications skills

· Experience with Industrial and/or Electrical products highly desired

· Inside sales experience desired

· Strong computer skills required

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
