Sr. Marketing Analyst / Media Planner

BSH Home Appliances, Manufacturer of Bosch, Siemens, Gaggenau & Thermador brands of high-end home appliances is seeking a Sr. Marketing Analyst / Media Planner to work in our corporate office located in Huntington Beach, Ca. 

 

The qualified candidate will be responsible for monitoring research of market demand, industry trends and business opportunities to improve market share and sales for BSH. Ability to thoroughly run and clean numeric data in preparation for analysis is essential. Successful candidate will have proven ability to identify and implement appropriate analytical approaches and research methodologies. Ongoing market research and data entry into our proprietary database required for preparation of quantitative monthly and quarterly reports. The selected candidate must have the ability to gather industry information from various sources, perform analysis, and create graphs to keep organization informed of trends and to ensure strategic direction stay market – driven.

 

Directing, controlling and briefing the company’s media agencies on brand goals and target audiences. Review media proposals and conducting independent media analysis to verify and optimize agency – presented media plans. Identifying new and more efficient ways of finding and targeting our audiences. Identifying new target – marketing instruments. Developing and implementing processes for media agencies, creative agencies and in – house functions.

 

Establish system to analyze media performance verification and conduct proof of performance checks. Negotiate make goods for sub par performances with media agencies and media representatives.

 

A BS Degree in Business / Marketing or related field with a minimum of 3 years experience in marketing, database management, or quantitative / qualitative and statistical analysis required.  At least 2 years experience in media planning. Strong analytical skills are necessary. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to manage projects and multiple tasks simultaneously to meet sensitive deadlines. Advanced skills required in Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP desirable but not required. Previous experience in appliance industry helpful.
