Our Client is a leading multi-billion dollar, global company with a powerful portfolio of leading brands recognized in every household. This is a newly created position to help ensure "Vendor Of The Year" statusRetail Operations Manager - Team Walmart
The Retail Operations Manager has responsibility for overall retail conditions including shelf conditions, in store execution, display programs, new store openings and test market implementations. The associate is required to build Walmart HQ contacts with the Store Operations VPs, VPs, Marketing, Merchandising for the stores and Regional Hubs. The Retail Operations Manager works with Company associates, customer personnel and third party service providers to ensure specific plans and programs are in place in the stores to achieve company retail objectives and strategies. Provides coaching and direction to customer retail resources. Develops expertise on "how" work is accomplished at the customer by understanding key operating systems at headquarters, DC's and at the stores.
Conducts ongoing assessment of retail conditions, identifying issues, opportunities and creates solutions for improvement.
Position Requirements
Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent business experience
Experience: 7-10 years of field sales Consumer Package Goods Industry experience (Supplier side )
Walmart experience is a plus (supplier side)
Retail sales experience; account sales, broker management or distributor management experience; experience in major account management
proficient computer skills. proficient in , including: Retail Link, IRI, POS and Third Party Systems
