Product Manager-Home Projectors

Job Description
Product Development

§ Provides input into the development of product road maps

§ Coordinates with SEC to monitor product development process and makes recommendations for meeting market needs

 

Product Management

§ Works closely with Marketing Communications, Documentation, Service/Support, SEC, and other groups to manage the launch schedule and process for the product, ensuring that product is delivered within required time frames

§ Provides input into product positioning and pricing

§ Collaborates with sales and logistics organizations to optimize product forecast and product procurement

§ Provides input into key advertising and promotions tactics of product

§ Serves as internal and external PR spokesperson for assigned product

§ Supports the company at events, including sales meetings and trade shows

§ Supports the sales team in customer visits and presentations

§ Conducts competitive analysis and benchmarking for assigned products

§ Initiates and maintains relationships industry trade groups, analysts, and publications.

§ Manages end of product lifecycle and transition to minimize inventory and ensure launch time frames are met

 

Relationship Management

§ Builds strong relationships with functional leaders and peers, Sales, and SEC to best meet company goals and objectives.

§ Manages and leverages relationships with vendors for a specific product/service (best price, best product, etc.)

 

 

Qualifications

· Completion of a Bachelor’s degree, MBA highly desired.

· Minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience.

· Experience launching a new product line or category.

· Excellent analytical skills

· Must be creative and innovation.
