ACNielsen - a Market Research Company - Retail Measurement provides continuous tracking of consumer purchases at the point of sale through scanning technology and in-store audits in more than 80 countries. Clients receive detailed information on actual purchases, market shares, distribution, pricing, and merchandising and promotional activities. Retail Measurement is the largest revenue segment within ACNielsen. QualificationsManages an Operational unit in Dictionary Product Control. Responsible for the data collection and coding processes and systems to ensure delivery of accurate, timely item coding. Executes business and financial plans and supports the implementation of key business initiatives across the organization. Builds and maintains high performing unit. Establish prioritized work plans and resource assignments based on Operations objectives to drive the day-to-day activities of all staff members. Plan and control department expenses to achieve all financial targets. Coordinate all personnel activities to ensure a skilled, knowledgeable, high performance team, including recruitment, training and performance evaluation. Support the development and implementation of key departmental and cross-functional business initiatives. Continuously seek opportunities for performance/process improvements and to provide solutions to business problems. Effectively communicate to staff members, Operations management and across the organization.
