General Manager

 

Herbalife International of America, Inc. (NSYE:HLF), a global network marketing company that offers a range of science-based weight management products, nutritional supplements and personal care products, is seeking a General Manager for our new Phoenix based Distributor Sales Center. 

 

This position will be responsible for planning, controlling, leading, and directing all activities within the Phoenix Sales Center. Supervise administrative functions related to day-today operations, including Distributor walk in sales orders, inventory control, assembly, returns departments, and general office maintenance. Encourage and motivate staff while at the same time creating an atmosphere of teamwork, good communication, and excellent customer service. 

 

The ideal candidate must have 3-5 years experience in a supervisory or management role (preferably in a warehouse environment) and a college degree is preferred. Must be bilingual in Spanish, and experience with Computer Assisted Picking (CAPS) and Pick-To-Light system knowledge helpful. Forklift and warehouse safety experience and training a plus. Experience with Radio Frequency (RF), Bar-Coding (BC), and Warehouse Management System (WMS) helpful. Strong Computer skills including the complete Microsoft Office package, Oracle applications and OPMAIN. Knowledge of fiscal management and human resources management techniques. Knowledge of company administration practices. APICS Certification is desirable and or a working knowledge of MRP or DRP. Must be able to resolve problems and carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision. Organize workload for effective implementation. Strong customer and results orientation. Interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity. Effective team leader with strong customer service skills, and self motivated. Adapt as the external environment and organization evolves.
