Job Duties

The Wal-Mart Replenishment Analyst will be responsible for the management of customer DC and store level replenishment for the Wal-Mart and Sam's Club. This individual will be the driving force behind the relationship between Vi-Jon and the Customer Replenishment team. The objective of this position is to perform analysis using Retail Link data that will assist in the monitoring and maintaining of customer inventory requirements, which will result maximizing store instock, fill rate, and on time delivery %. Monitor and analyze customer forecasts and inventory on a daily basis to prevent any over or out of stock situations. The Wal-Mart Replenishment analyst will work closely with the Forecast analyst to help deliver the most accurate production forecast possible through the use of Vi-Jon and customer forecast data. Analyze individual solutions and recommend action to ensure that the customer's needs are met. Access, update and maintain records for individual accounts. As well as complete and submit required reporting to the customer. This individual will also be responsible for ad hoc analysis and reporting as well as all supplier and customer meeting planning and execution.

 

Collect, compile and analyze data from both internal and external sources, i.e. inventory, production, forecasts, sales and point-of-sales, lead times, etc. Analyze vendor inventory reports to maintain the required safety stock; identify quantity deficiencies and coordinate for production and shipment. Prepare and analyze vendor performance data. Conduct exception handling on both Vi-Jon and customer forecast exceptions. Monitor and identify trends in the forecast, order patterns and point of sale data in conjunction with promotional activity and seasonality and implement changes to the customer's and Vi-Jon's forecasts in relation to these trends. Communicate with appropriate personnel regarding order and stock status regarding key accounts. Monitor production scheduling for timely shipping. Recognize supply chain bottlenecks and problem areas and assist in resolving the issues.

 

Willingness to travel as required (approx. 3-4 times per year).
