Lean Six Sigma Expert / Black Belt

Leading Lean Six Sigma consulting organization is seeking Lean Six Sigma Experts to help drive project work in an operational finance environment.

 

The ideal candidate for this position enjoys conducting hands-on project work while interacting with and utilizing a group of highly skilled and diverse colleagues.  The project work entails all aspects of transforming a traditional business environment into a high performance organization by applying the organizational, performance management and process principles of Lean. 

 

The detailed responsibilities of this position are:

 Leading Kaizen events in a business process environment to drive process changeCoaching directors, managers and associates in Lean principles and methodsImplementing and supporting a performance management system (Metrics and corrective action)Conducting all required activities associated with transforming an organization to LeanApplying Six Sigma and Operations Analysis techniques to identify and capitalize on business opportunities often times utilizing large data sets

 

This position requires the application of methods traditionally associated with manufacturing to a service business.  The position is thus ideally suited for an individual seeking to switch industries from manufacturing to service.

 

Much of the work is on-site work with customers, travel will be required 50- 75% of the time.  Future career opportunities for this position will include large scale project management and managerial positions in operations.

 

Required Qualifications:

 Bachelors degree, preferably in technical field (engineering, physics, mathematics) MBA preferredCertified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt by reputable organizationDemonstrated experience in leading large scale Kaizen eventsExcellent computer skills (MS Office including Word, Excel, Power Point)Working knowledge using MS Access to analyze large data-setsExcellent communication skillsStrong team player

 

This position is full time with a home base of either Phoenix, AZ or Overland Park, KS.
