Business Analyst/Consultant
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Design and execute collaborative services for JDAMarketplace Collaborative Solutions. Candidate will work with JDAMarketplace Host Retailers to tailor consulting services to the business processes existent at each retail hub. Maintain direct communication between the customer, project team and other JDA associates.
DESCRIPTION:
· Create, promote, recruit and execute advanced training that will ensure that collaborative suppliers continue to gain value from the Marketplace program.
· Provide process consulting and training to ensure successful project implementation.
· Assess clients through the consulting engagement to confirm their understanding of concepts presented.
· Collect and document benefit metrics achieved by clients through the implementation and follow-up process.
· Work with program retailers, distributors and suppliers to enhance the collaborative rollout and training process.
· Participate in the development and execution of new collaborative consulting services for JDA collaborative offerings.
· Create project plans with JDAMarketplace hosts that maximize billing utilization and collaborative subscription revenue recognition.
· Conduct process review meetings, product training sessions and business requirement sessions.
· Develops functional specifications for modifications, reports, and screens.
· Assist customers with change management.
· Manage client health checks and maintenance projects with minimal supervision.
· Assist in the completion of all project related documentation to include; design documentation, change management requests, timeline/project plan updates, project status reports, post implementation hand off binder.
· Documents work flow diagrams.
· Develops test scripts and testing scenarios in conjunction with users and works with the testing process.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
· 5+ year of experience in inventory management. (High competency and understanding of retail replenishment, demand planning and CPFR preferred)
· Proven track record in successfully executing supply chain services to suppliers and retailers.
· Previous experience as a retail buyer or supplier demand planner highly preferred.
· Product expertise in Portfolio Forecasting and Replenishment by E3.
· Ability to work with Director level contacts at Retail Hubs and within supplier demand planning/customer service organizations.
· Ability to facilitate collaborative interactions between companies to ensure win-win results are achieved.
· Outstanding presentation, facilitation, communication and negotiation skills
· Ability to make sound decisions with a high degree of problem solving capability.
· Proven troubleshooting skills and good client relationship skills.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Capable of facilitating the following; design sessions, conflict resolutions, brainstorming, etc.
· Strong interpersonal skills to include the ability to mentor, coach, and train.
· Well organized and consistently meets commitments.
· Flexible and maintains a teamwork attitude.
· Extensive travel required (approximately 50-75%).
