Pool Service Repair Technician

Major Function:
Looking for experienced electricians who have knowledge in, or would like to be trained in, providing quality field repair/replacement of all swimming pool equipment products.  Perform swimming pool equipment maintenance relating to heaters, filters, pumps, motors, cleaning systems, automatic controls and electrical.  Highly specialized position with an emphasis on versatility, accuracy and public contact both by phone and in person.

 

Essential Functions:
*  Perform a variety of highly skilled equipment repair procedures relating to swimming pool heaters, filters, pumps, motors, cleaning systems, automatic controls and electrical systems
*  Maintain ongoing communication with the office and schedulers to ensure timely repair and maintenance
*  Perform accurate van inventories and daily maintenance of vehicle (check oil and fluid levels)
*  Complete standard paperwork processes accurately and on time
*  Maintain an acceptable personal appearance and strong customer focus

 

Qualifications:
*  2+ years pool service/maintenance or repair experience preferred.

*  An understanding of pool plumbing, water flow and troubleshooting procedures to provide sound solutions with minimal rework

*  Mechanical and technical aptitude a plus
*  Working knowledge of a wide range of repairs pertaining to swimming pool equipment including but not limited to heaters, filters, pumps, motors, cleaning systems, automatic controls, pool lighting and electrical, chlorination systems
*  Team player with a positive attitude, good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and willingly contribute to the overall success of the department
*  Great verbal and written communication skills
*  An acceptable MVD license report and clean background check with no prior felony convictions, DWI's or current judgments
*  Flexible to work overtime when necessary
