Job Requirements and Description

 

2 years of college and 12 years progressive, relevant experience required (or an equivalent combination of education/experience for a total of 14 years).  Strong configuration and data management, communication, and customer relations skills are required.  Proficiency with MS Office Suite is required.  Proficiency with web-based applications and databases required.  Technical writing experience desired.  Experience with various multimedia technologies desired.  Experience working within the NASA environment is strongly desired.

 

Other Duties:

 

Provide analytical and technical support for Upper Stage Reaction and Control (RCS) and First Stage Roll Control Systems in the area of configuration and data management.  Provide configuration analyst support required for development and integration of technical documentation, change packages, and develop/maintain procedures that will govern the configuration and data management process for RCS.  Coordinate among the appropriate MSFC engineering disciplines to conduct independent assessments necessary to effectively evaluate reaction control system technical documentation requirements.  Provide support to requirements definition and flow down.  Maintain master files and associated data.
