Application Development Lead - EDI / ERP

A leading manufacturer / provider of telecommunications cabling products needs your software engineer expertise!

 

OVERVIEW:

Your primary focus for this position will be one the development, enhancement, and support of Extranet and Intranet portals and related web applications.

 

Your responsibilities will include:
Developing customization, interfaces, and enhancements to existing EDI and ERP applications
Maintaining, upgrading, and providing support for assigned applications
Designing and building web sites / web applications
Coding, monitoring, and tuning database objects
Assisting with functional architecture of the site
Assisting with platform migration (Oracle 91 to SQL 2003)

 

This position involves minimal travel to offices in Mexico and China.

 

REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years solid experience in development of complex information systems solutions
Solid skills with MS VB6 and .Net
Solid understanding of relational databases, including SQL 2003 and Oracle 9i
Experience in UNIX / Sun Solaris environments
In-depth knowledge of MS SharePoint
Familiarity within Novus EDI tool preferred
