This is a Team ITSS Position with Jacobs. The candidate must have 12 years Business Analyst experience, OR 10 years Business Analyst experience and an Associates Degree in a Technical Discipline or related field, OR 8 years Business Analyst experience and a Bachelors Degree in a Technical, OR 6 years Business Analyst experience and a Masters Degree in a Technical.
Other Duties:
Perform automatic identification technology (AIT) and item unique identification (IUID) functional/technical program management and integration within the Army Materiel Command (AMC) industrial base. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with and gather information from a very diverse group. Wide range of knowledge in all areas of AIT, IUID, information technology, and information assurance. Fundamental understanding of the AIT programs for application to modernization projects for depot maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), automated shop floor control systems, manufacturing, fabrication, supply, and distribution. Coordinate across the AMC industrial base, AMC headquarters, Lead AMC Integration Support Office (LAISO), Department of Defense, Departments of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and others. Provide functional/technical coordination services across the AMC industrial base for systems integration services required for AIT and IUID integration. Support the AMC AIT Workgroup. In-depth knowledge, experience, and demonstrated expertise in information technology, information assurance, program management, systems engineering, system integration, technical management, and programmatics. Expertise in development of strategic plans, implementation plans, program milestone schedules, concepts of operation, business cases analysis, and other documentation. Experience in existing and emerging Army and AMC automation tools.
Provide functional/technical information technology management to AMC AIT initiatives, pilot programs, and future endeavors within the AMC industrial base.
Establish and maintain a technical and architecture baseline of each separate AMC industrial base activity to include all AIT capabilities currently installed and in use at each activity. Ensure that systems integration contractors provide AIT solutions that meet DOD and other governance body regulatory guidance, DOD AIT architecture and AMC AIT Program Management Plan architecture requirements.
Ensure that all AIT solutions provide a technical solution or enhancement to a business process. Attend conferences, symposiums, and other similar events to maintain knowledge of current and future technologies and their application with the AMC industrial base business processes. Coordinate with all AMC industrial base organizations and contractors to ensure total AIT program integration is achieved. Understand spectrum management and processes used to obtain and use frequencies in a military environment. Know and understand information assurance guidance and regulations and apply the rules to AIT and IUID environments in industrial base.
