Systems Administrator
A great full-time opportunity within a dynamic national data exchange organization, rapidly growing in market share and size. This is a fast paced, not for profit providing technology solutions within an untapped market, data channel services. This person will join a team of dedicated, hard working, and passionate people charged with continuously growing and supporting our industry-leading national data service. A few of the responsibilities are: - Configuring and maintaining servers, network hardware and networked storage - Supporting local and remote end-users with technical support services - Supporting strategic IT initiatives - Purchasing and managing software and hardware upgrades - Other duties as assigned Desired Qualifications - Cisco switch, VPN and firewall experience - Oracle, DB2 and MySQL database experience - System imaging and virtualization - EMC storage experience - AIX and IBM hardware experience - Experience administering servers in an office environment - Experience supporting local and off-site Windows users - Number of years working with Windows servers
Qualifications :
Requirements - 5 or more years ordering, configuring and maintaining servers and network hardware - Exceptional customer service skills - Exceptional troubleshooting skills - Active Directory and LDAP experience - Expert level Apache and IIS experience - Windows 2000, 2003 experience - RedHat Enterprise Linux experience - Experience with Supporting Java application servers (Weblogic, Websphere, Tomcat) - Experience troubleshooting local and wide area networks, DNS and DHCP - Demonstrated ability to work well with non-technical staff - Detail oriented - Ability to learn quickly, follow up on assignments and work independently
